Thanks for the congrats Matt on TORSO theatre. I also want to say Mike
that I'm proud of your accomplishments with MIB, and I appreciate the
way you always stick up for me when they try to cut me from the program.
It goes a long way towards my believing that you're actually human.
You're really going to play this act out to completion, aren't you? You
don't think I've noticed how you don't actually age, but you keep
putting on makeup? You don't think I see you wallowing in the slime of
another planet?

Pretty slow submission month for me. Yeah, yeah, Mike, you win. As for
MIB, I know how much work you put into it, and it showed. I had the
luxury of just coming in and grabbing the limelight. Thanks. I was also
impressed by your Tribune article. You blew that other turkey out of the
air. Hopefully Matt and I can generate some of our own publicity.
Got the damn resume off to the Rocky MTN. News. Will get a copy to you
two as soon as we stop getting credits long enough to send it.
I am working on the play outline, really. Will make an attempt real soon.
Something hasn't clicked, yet, though. It worries me.

Ark-Crawlspace-Melting Man-Black Blood to PIER ONE
I sent crawlspace somewhere, but I don't remember where.
24 submissions. Eat Pica Elite you bastards.
I bought the new Playwright's Companion and Who's Where in
American Theatre. Looks like a gold mine for resume subs. Look
for future resume inundations.
Thanks for the encouragement Matt. Also congrats on King of Kings
(sort of) production. I want to especially wish you luck at STIG
production. Don't go expecting the world. Just support whatever
they've done, whether you agree or not. I made the mistake of
advising actors on SMALL TOWN and crippling their all ready
handicapped performances. Believe it or not, it's their
production. Try just being a disinterested spectator. Bring back
something we can all use. Rah! Rah! Rah! Anyway, I know you'll do
fine.
Mike, I just hope that whatever our destinies are, that whatever
life will bring and whatever fate has planned for us, that
sometime, somewhere, the Good Lord will allow our paths to cross
just once so that I can squeeze that plastic of yours face again.

Don't panic Mike, for Jesus's sake. Matt and I will take care of
the submissions. I just felt this month like I had a lot of
energy, and I think that submitting to people who request our
work will do more for us than the system we've been using. We'll
see. Just calm down and don't worry. I won't trouble you anymore.

I know the national ones are a long shot, but what the hell.
Also, I sent to the Salt Lake ones before, but this time I called
around to find the actual people to send to. I'm also going to
call these people again and verify that they received what I sent
just to prod them. I'm sick of the fact that they've been
ignoring me. Maybe this will work better.

I've done some heavy submitting this month. 14 by one count, 30
by another. I've also sent out hundreds of resumes and
invitations. I'm working hard to keep up with requests. It seems
to be working beyond my expectations. I think all of the plays
submitted were from requests.
Matt, I don't wish to be negative, but please don't shoot down my
schemes. I've been working my ass off this month in order to
force success for our group, and whether you realize it or not,
I'm working for your success as well. I was especially hurt when
you called me insisting we had to do something to help STIGMATA,
and I sent out hundreds of invitations mainly from your response.
Then all you can do is tell me that I've been stupid enough to
piss off theatres in New York. If I made mistakes, it's because I
was rushing because you insisted that we had to get everything
out in a day or two.
I especially don't think it's right for you to come up with an
advertising scheme and then not inform Mike. He has a stake in
this too, and whether you like it or not, STIGMATA was our
production too.
Other than just some miscellaneous bitching, I'm finished. Other
than that, I think you did a great job on Clazion, and I think
it's great you spent the money to go to Jersey. You deserved the
success of it. Just share in it. That's what a group is all
about.
